This item is an electronic practice instrument.
It plays the
standard great highland bagpipe scale, as do normal practice chanters, without drones.
Volume can be turned up or down. For normal audio playing, the ear
phones must be
connected. There is also a special function called "digital mode." Small
stereo ear
phones are included (see below); can be used with all
portable CD players. Plastic chanter is 13 1/4" long overall.

The package at left comes with the above electronic practice chanter. The two earphones plus the jack are shown, plus a pair of foam ear pads.
