St. David's Day Bilingual Books

Each year on St. David’s Day in Wales an informative bilingual book by a well-known author is published by the University of Wales for young people. These books are ideal for Welsh learners because the Welsh is not as difficult as in books put out for Welsh-speaking adults, and the English and Welsh are on facing pages throughout. These are soft cover, used.

David Samwell (Dafydd Ddu Feddyg) 1751-1798 by E.G.Bowen. The story of a colorful Welshman who was a surgeon, and accompanied Captain Cook on his third voyage of exploration. 115pp. 1974. $9.00
